Arthur Stanley Jefferson, better known as Stan Laurel was born on the 16th June 1890 in Ulverston, a small market town situated south of the English Lake District.

The film takes us to various locations around the historic market town of Ulverston that played a significant part of young Stan’s life, beautifully illustrated with reconstructed scenes from the late 1800’s.
